Clinton blames Comey for election loss

Hillary Clinton on Saturday cast blame for her surprise election loss on the announcement by the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, days before the election that he had revived the inquiry into her use of a private email server.

In her most extensive remarks since she conceded the race to Donald J. Trump early Wednesday, Mrs. Clinton told donors on a 30-minute conference call that Mr. Comey’s decision to send a letter to Congress about the inquiry 11 days before Election Day had thrust the controversy back into the news and had prevented her from ending the campaign with an optimistic closing argument.

“There are lots of reasons why an election like this is not successful,” Mrs. Clinton said, according to a donor who relayed the remarks. But, she added, “our analysis is that Comey’s letter raising doubts that were groundless, baseless, proven to be, stopped our momentum.”

FBI reviewing new emails in Hillary Clinton case

hillarylaughWASHINGTON — The F.B.I. said Friday that it had uncovered new emails related to the closed investigation into whether Hillary Clinton or her aides had mishandled classified information, potentially reigniting an issue that has weighed on the presidential campaign.

In a letter to Congress, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said that emails had surfaced in an unrelated case, and that they “appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

Mr. Comey said the F.B.I. was taking steps to “determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.” He said he did not know how long it would take to review the emails, or whether the new information was significant.

My two cents: Unless any of these emails reveal incidents of kitten torture by Hillary Clinton, I intent to ignore them. Lesser of two evils, after all. Progressives will start holding her accountable on Nov. 9.

The right wing are already convinced that Hillary is EVIL, and will believe Comey is in the bag for Hillary. The script is already written.

Let’s face it … Hillary is sorta nasty (but far less nasty than Trump)

You know all these stories based in WikiLeaks about how Hillary Clinton tells one thing to rich bankers and other things to voters?

If Hillary were running against a normal Republican opponent, these emails would destroy her, and the GOPer would be looking at probable victory.

But she’s not running against a normal GOPer. She’s running against Donald Trump — an orange-haired vulgarian, an ill-tempered lout who is intellectually and emotionally unprepared to be president. Rational Republicans wake up in a cold sweat at the idea of Trump with his finger on the button.

Hillary is corrupt … but in the way Americans expect a segment of the political class to be corrupt. Most of the corruption seems to be in the area of jimmying elections and the electorate to win elections, and to get donors to give her money. But I’d rather have her fingers on that damn button than Trump.

So WikiLeaks revelations come around and I’m willing to ignore them for the time being … until, say, four years from now when she faces a true progressive in the primary and Trump is a jail.

So, no, Trump backers. We’re giving Hillary a free pass. We’re simply electing the lesser of two evils. For the time being.

Hillary … you are on notice.

Susan Sarandon is right

eye_on_bernieSusan Sarandon has been taking a lot of grief over her comments saying that she may NOT vote for Hillary Clinton is she’s the Democratic nominee. First off, she did NOT say that she’s voting for Trump. And the last I checked, her vote belongs to HER, not to Hillary and she can vote for any damn person she wants to vote for. And lastly, she’s exactly right: A Trump presidency would certainly bring about the much-needed revolution a LOT quicker than a Clinton presidency. There’s roughly 50 percent of Americans who think Trump would be good for America. I think maybe they need to be given  a good long taste of it.

I’m starting to rethink my position that I’ll vote for Clinton if she wins the Dem nomination.

I can guarantee Hillary a win over whichever assh*le the GOP nominates

eye_on_bernieFirst, I’m not assuming that Hillary wins the Democrat nomination. There’s a lot of delegates out there and a lot of states that still haven’t held races.

Second, Hillary and her assh*le supporters  better shut up with the anti-Bernie statements. I mean it. Shut up.

Third, think Hillary/Bernie on the same national ticket. It will make it a whole lot easier for Bernie primary voters to cast their general election votes for Hillary.

Usually, politicians cringe at the idea of newspapers digging up photos from their arrest

eye_on_bernieThe Chicago Tribune dug up this old photo from an arrest in Chi-town, and it’s only helping with Bernie Sander’s street cred. It’s helping to poke holes in Hilary Clinton’s once perfect stranglehold on the black vote. At the time of this arrest, Mrs. Clinton was then a volunteer for conservative Barry Goldwater. Were the Clinton’s deeply involved in the civil rights movement? Well, maybe they attended a Black Panther pot party or two, but aside from that, they weren’t.

Myself, I intend to never again vote for anyone who doesn’t have an arrest on their record.

My problem with Hillary

This is what bugs me about Hillary Clinton.

It is a universal truth among Democrats that the millionaires have too much influence. Democrats everywhere hate the Koch brothers for dumping millions  into the coffers of Republicans, especially conservatives.

But Hillary would have us believe she took money for the speeches she gave Wall Street and it didn’t influence her in the least.
