Journal Star staff reveals its directional illiteracy once again

From this story:

The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m. near Southwest Adams and Sloan streets and resulted in a portion of Adams being blocked off by fire and police crews.

That would be a neat trick. But Sloan intersects with NORTHEAST Adams, in Averyville.

The accident happened about five blocks away from the PJS’s headquarters at 1 News Plaza. Five. Blocks.

This is what happens to a city’s one and only newspaper of record when you hire outsiders to edit it who do not live in that city and do not give a fig what happens in the city.

I wonder how many locations get misreported in Metamora and Germantown Hills. Not many, I bet.
