Prof who threatened college jurnos is finally charged with a crime

From the New York Daily News:

University of Missouri media professor Melissa Click, who was caught on camera calling for “muscle” to remove a student journalist from a November protest, was charged with third degree assault for her involvement in student protests — more than two months after the heated encounter, authorities announced.

Columbia city prosecutor Steve Richey filed the municipal court complaint Monday against the 45-year-old Click.

Click faces a Class C misdemeanor, punishable by up to 15 days in jail and a $300 fine, for requesting the removal of student journalist Mark Schierbecker during demonstrations over racism on campus, the Columbia Tribune reports.
